Vanderbilt Business Reveals 2024 MBA Employment Outcomes

Vanderbilt MBA Class of 2024: 91% employed within 3 months, $150K average starting salary, thriving across multiple industries

The Vanderbilt MBA Class of 2024 achieved strong employment outcomes after graduation despite a challenging employment market. The class reports earning an average starting base salary of $150,246. 

We are extremely grateful for the partnerships with our employers and alumni who continue to foster relationships with current students, and we are so happy to contribute as a part of Vanderbilt University’s fantastic resources that prepare graduates to achieve their personal and professional goals,” said Emily Anderson, Executive Director, Vanderbilt Career Management Center. 

Within 3 months of graduation, 91% of the class reported receiving a job offer and of those, 90% accepted employment. The Class of 2024 reports accepting positions across a diverse range of industries with 32% of the class working in consulting. Other popular industries among the class include financial services, healthcare, and consumer products. 

Vanderbilt’s full-time MBA program is also happy to announce that 99% of first-year students secured summer internships. The students reported earning a monthly salary of up to $17,917. 

“Almost the entirety of the MBA Class of 2025 secured a summer internship prior to mid-June to gain experience in 89 companies,” Anderson explains. “In addition to these outcomes with outstanding companies, some graduates and interns are fulfilling their ambitions by starting their own businesses or continuing with their education.”
