EMBA & GEMBA Math Camp

Overview

Prior to the start of the Executive MBA or Global Executive MBA-Americas program, you will have the opportunity to attend a summer Math Camp at no charge. This camp has proven successful in helping students to not only prepare for our highly quantitative and analytical Executive MBA curriculum, but also adjust to being back in the classroom.

Math Camp is comprised of four classes, held on four consecutive Saturdays, starting in July. About two-thirds of incoming students participate; some are required based on GMAT or Executive Assessment (EA) scores and others choose to attend as a way to jump-start the classroom experience of the Executive MBA program.

While most of the math concepts used in the Executive MBA curriculum are algebraic in nature, students must also have a general understanding of calculus. As a result, Math Camp study areas include algebra and calculus (weeks one and two) and statistics (weeks three and four).
