Executive MBA New Harmony

No Other Executive MBA Program Offers a Kickoff Like This

Regardless of which track you choose, your Vanderbilt Executive MBA experience opens with an intensive, weeklong residency in historic New Harmony, Indiana. There, removed from the demands of your daily routine, you can get to know your classmates and professors and re-acclimate to being a student.

During this week, you will also begin immersing yourself in the curriculum. In fact, this time accounts for a substantial portion of the first semester's curriculum. At New Harmony, you will be placed on your C-Team and complete your first assignments as a group. You begin work in key classes such as Executive Leadership, Managerial Accounting, Statistics and Managerial Economics. You will also be introduced to the Leadership Development Program, meet your team of executive coaches and begin developing a framework for improving your leadership style.

The Executive MBA week-in-residence is a wonderful jumping-off point for the two-year journey at Vanderbilt. Through this full-immersion experience, we became acclimated with the program, bonded with our C-Teams, remembered how to be students and even perfected our karaoke skills.
