Each of the four Americas Alliance partner schools that participate in make up the Global Immersion Track (Americas MBA for Executives) Alliance are leading business schools in their regions. By partnering together, this unique alliance of schools gives you opportunities to work collaboratively on international teams across the four largest economies of the Global Immersion Track. During each of the four residencies, you will immerse yourself in global business at each of these schools. Read more about this unique alliance in a Letter from the Director. At the conclusion of the program, you will earn a Vanderbilt MBA as well the Global Immersion Track Alliance Certificate, jointly issued by the four schools of the alliance, giving you credentials from four world-class business schools.

Canada
Where: Vancouver, British Columbia
School: Simon Fraser University, Beedie School of Business — a Canadian leader in global business teaching and research
What: The curriculum focuses on cross-cultural management and global strategy. Here, you will meet your new international cohort, be assigned to your new cross-cultural C-team, and begin your Global Strategy Capstone project together.
Brazil
Where: Sao Paulo
School: Fundacao Instituto de Administracao (FIA)—an Executive MBA program ranked by a number of leading international publications as among the best in the world
What: The curriculum focuses on corporate social responsibility and strategic management for emerging markets. You will visit local companies to experience doing business globally, and you will continue to work with your team on your Global Capstone Strategy Project.

Where: Mexico City
School: Instituto Technologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM)—named best business school in Latin America
What: The curriculum focuses on family business and global competitiveness. Here, you will continue to work with your C-team on your capstone strategy project.
United States
Where: Nashville
School: Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management—globally recognized as one of the country’s top business schools
What: The curriculum focuses on innovation and creating and launching new ventures for organizational growth. Here, you will wrap up the program experience and present your capstone project to your international cohort. In a closing ceremony, you will receive an Americas Alliance certificate and celebrate with your cohort.
